British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
